Can Multiple People Add Options Into a Wheel of Names Online

Yes. Our wheel of names provides a solution for allowing multiple people to add their own options into a single wheel of names online. Follow these simple steps.

First method using a Google Form and a Google Sheet:

1. Link a Google Form to a single "central" Google Sheet.
2. Share the Google Form with your recipients.
3. Recipients fill in your Google Form which automatically updates your Google Sheet.
4. When all recipients have filled in the Google Form highlight and copy the cells in the Google Sheet and do the following:
   • In Random Wheel Spin click the Add Names button
   • Clear the default entries
   • Paste your Google Sheet entries
5. The wheel is now populated with all submitted entries.
6. If more entries are added at a later date to the Google Form simply copy and paste the new Google sheet contents into the wheel again.

Second method using a Microsoft Form and an Excel file:

1. Link a Microsoft Form to a single "central" Excel file. To do this you have a couple of options.
   1. Excel for the Web
      1. Open OneDrive or SharePoint and create a new Excel workbook.
      2. From the menu, select Insert > Forms > New Form.
      3. Design your form. All submitted responses will automatically sync to the Excel file.
      4. Share the form link with users to start collecting data.
   2. Microsoft Teams
      1. In a Teams channel, click the + icon to add a new tab.
      2. Select Forms and choose Create a shared form.
      3. A connected Excel spreadsheet is created in the channel’s Files tab and updates in real time as responses are submitted.
2. When all recipients have filled in the Microsoft Form highlight you import the Excel file into the wheel by dragging and dropping the completed Excel file into the Add Names popup:
   • In Random Wheel Spin click the Add Names button
   • Clear the default entries
   • In your computer drag and drop the entire Excel file over into the Add Names window. You can alternatively copy and paste the cells from Excel, or click the CSV icon in the Add Names screen.
3. The wheel is now populated with all submitted entries.
4. If more entries are added at a later date to the Microsoft Form simply import the new Excel file contents into the wheel again.
