How to use a wheel of names

• Enter each student’s name into the wheel. You can set hidden activities behind each name. You can do this manually or use CSV or Google Sheets to import names and activities in bulk. The hidden activity simply goes in the second column.
• Display the wheel so the selection process is visible. Set colors, add images, and spin sounds.
• Spin the wheel to choose a student at random.
• Use it for answering questions, sharing work, or setting activities.
• Decide whether names are removed after selection (this can be done automatically) or allowed to repeat.
• Set expectations so selection feels positive rather than punitive.
